A prize for the first priest to post his own video of himself celebrating ad orientem? If you don't hurry up, Fathers, the Anglican refugees will arrive and beat you to it... :-D

...'Ad Orientem', you say, but why was I was seeing it side on (Ad Meridies if I'm not mistaken)? No, No, No, Ad Orientem which is what we ALL long for has to be ' AD ORIENTEM' camera and all. 'Side on' for You Tube (of all means of distribution) is not good enough. That was a DISGRACE and a distraction, and I'm sure was also a distraction for the Holy Father too...after all he is the One who does not want his face to be seen during the Sacred Words of Consecration. (+ It's ammunition for the 'lefties' who can claim the 'double standards' argument!)
The same goes for a televised Mass I saw on EWTN some weeks ago...the new Vatican (inspired) M.C. had restored the Crucifix (and Candle) in the centre of the Altar of Sacrifice...what does EWTN do? They position a camera between the Crucifix and the Holy Father so that we were able to view the Holy Father's FACE at that moment of consecration ...against his own humble wishes and doctrinal sensibilities. I was upset for the poor Holy Father and prayed he would not see such a travesty in his celebration of Holy Mass. EWTN is good but it needs to know its boundaries... especially when transmitting Masses being celebrated by the Holy Father. Sauce etc for goose and gander should hold true....camera-men and TV (on-line) viewrs should have no greater privileges than the faithful who are present.
